Eventually, the heart wall thins and dilates, leading to right-sided congestive heart failure.   • Echocardiography: The gold standard for assessing the size of the right ventricle and measuring pulmonary artery pressures via Doppler flow patterns.

  • Thoracic Radiography: Used to identify the underlying lung pathology, such as interstitial patterns, airway collapse, or large vessel size irregularities. Radiographs may rule out other conditions like Pericardial Effusion.

Oxygen therapy may be necessary for stabilization. In cases of infectious or inflammatory lung disease, treating the primary cause is paramount.
