The Vet Matcher is the AI agent that powers hospital recommendations in Pet Triage AI. Based on your pet's symptoms, species, and location, it finds the most relevant nearby hospitals — including specialists if needed.
1How Matching Works
When you describe your pet's symptoms in Structured Triage mode, the AI analyzes the symptoms, determines what type of care is needed (emergency, specialty, general practice), and searches for nearby hospitals that match. It considers hospital type, specialties, distance, and available services.
2Specialist Matching
If your pet's symptoms suggest a need for a specialist (e.g., cardiology, oncology, orthopedic surgery), the Vet Matcher prioritizes Specialty hospitals with the relevant board-certified specialists. Results are presented as card links that take you directly to the hospital profile.
3Proximity-Based Recommendations
The Vet Matcher uses your location (if provided) to recommend the closest relevant hospitals. If you haven't set a location, it recommends hospitals broadly — you can then filter by area on the search page.
